Eres mi angelito hermoso. Descanse en paz corazon. Tu musica me cautivo y me inspira!
Guillerm o

My husband and I love Soraya's music so much. We did not hear of her death until about a year ago. We named our oldest daughter Soraya after this beautifully talented person. Our 2 daughters can't wait to meet Soraya in heaven and love to sing her songs! Our youngest always asks will I be able to meet her in heaven, and both wrote a specail letter and picture just for her. Soraya has been a great influence in our familie's life. Our little Soraya sings all the day long, at home, at school, and at play. Thank you Soraya. We love you

Six months ago i saw a picture of Soraya with the numbers 1969-2006 over her photo. I had never heard of her. Than i started to look up more information about her. I saw videos of her performing on stage, singing and playing the guitar, i heard many songs and saw interviews. I was just so drawn to her. I cried myself into sleep for the first two weeks because of her passing. I also read her book. She really was an amazing person, so talented, so warm, so kind and generous and my god so beautiful. I wish i got to know her sooner and i wish i could have met her. Today she would be 40 years old. I miss her a lot. Soraya, you're in my heart forever.

I bought Soraya's first CD kind of by accident many years ago. I'm sure many others can relate to falling in love with her music at first listen. Her songs are so powerful and her voice is one of those rare voices that speaks right to your heart. You immediately know that she is singing with all of her heart and soul. That CD was and still is one of my top 5 favorite ones of all time. Unfortunately I didn't know much else about her other than that she produced albums in Spanish and English. I lost touch with her music for several years as I was out of the country for a lot of that time. When I got onto google to find out if she released any new CD's I was absolutely devastated to learn she had died of breast cancer. It's been a long time and I always find myself during times of introspection, going to her website and listening to her music. I lost my mother to breast cancer at an early age and I find Soraya to be an amazing inspiration. Her music and the profound effect she has had on millions of lives with it and with her charity work will last forever. I'm so sad you're gone.
